Our turkey and chicken are raised right here on our acre and a half in Millbury. Our beef is raised about 10 miles away in a partnership with Margie's cousins. We have an ownership stake in those animals, so we know exactly how they're raised and what supplemental feed they get.
Duck and goose are a different story. We raise those in much smaller numbers, so rather than keep them on hand we take preorders and make sure every bird finds its table.

Our best-selling bacon, with a pepper-based spice rub. Margie thought it looked like gunpowder the first time Joe made it, and the name stuck.

Pork chops and pork loin chops. We don't sell pork in bulk. Call for what's in the freezer today.
Beef
Raised about 10 miles away in a partnership with Margie's cousins. Call for available cuts and today's market pricing.
Turkey
Farm-raised turkey in the freezer year round — separate from our holiday birds, which are preorder.
Chicken
Whole birds raised on the farm. Call ahead and we will set aside what you need.

Good to know
What is gunpowder bacon?
It is our own bacon with a pepper-based spice rub. When Joe first made it, Margie thought the rub looked like gunpowder being sprinkled on, and the name stuck. It is the best-selling bacon we make.
Do you sell pork?
Yes. We sell pork chops and pork loin chops, plus our gunpowder bacon. We do not sell pork in bulk (halves or quarters), and we no longer make pork sausage.
What meats do you normally have in the freezer?
Beef, turkey and chicken are our regular freezer stock. Turkey and chicken are raised here at the farm; beef is raised locally in partnership with family. Duck and goose come in smaller numbers, so we sell those by preorder rather than keeping them on hand.
Why are duck and goose preorder only?
We raise them in much smaller numbers than beef, turkey and chicken. Selling by preorder means every bird has a home before it is processed, rather than sitting in a freezer.
Can I buy a half or whole beef?
Call us at 419-917-1706 to talk through what you are planning. We will tell you honestly what we have available and what makes sense for your freezer space.
How much does it cost?
Prices follow the market and move through the year, so we do not publish a fixed list. Call for today's pricing on whatever cut or bird you are after.
Do you ship or deliver?
No — local pickup only at the farm, 1760 Woodville Rd in Millbury. We are happy to take your order over the phone and have it ready when you arrive.
